Chaque année, l'IFFHS (International Federation of Football History and Statistics) met à jour son classement des 350 plus grands clubs du monde. Cette année, le PSG a réalisé une mauvaise opération puisqu'il perd 5 places et passe de la 51ème à la 56ème position, à égalité avec le club espagnol de Villareal.
A noter que le club français le mieux positionné est sans surprise Bordeaux qui se retrouve à la 22ème place. Juste devant... le LOSC, 24ème. Lyon et Marseille sont les 3ème et 4ème clubs français et se placent respectivement en 27ème et 43ème position.
Le prix du plus grand club du monde revient une nouvelle fois à Manchester United.
